Mediation is a confidential process in which the parties, with the help of a mediator, voluntarily and autonomously strive for an amicable settlement of their conflict. Mediation can make sense in all areas of life in which conflicts arise and in which a long-term perspective of cooperation is nevertheless necessary. This can be the case with family and inheritance disputes or neighborhood conflicts, but also in many areas of business life. Maximilian Haedicke is a trained mediator who is particularly active in the field of business mediation.

His work focuses especially on conflicts in the field of new technologies, intellectual property law (patent law, copyright law, trademark law), licensing and competition law. He also offers mediation in other areas, in particular in companies and organizations. Maximilian Haedicke teaches mediation at the University of Freiburg and at the Administration and Business Academy in Freiburg. He has lectured on various aspects of mediation in Germany and the United States.
